On the 19th of June, the OHM took part in it's first-ever by-election. Lucinda J. Valentine (pictured left) was the candidate for the ward. She is a dedicated community member and social worker with a passion for politics. OHM came third place with 75 votes.

On the 18th of December 2018, The Organic Humanity Movement received its certificate confirming successful registration as a Nationally Registered political party.
